Privacy Policy

AnotherAgent ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use the AnotherAgent platform (the "Service").

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Account Data

When you sign up through our authentication provider (Clerk), we collect:

  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Profile image / avatar URL
  • Unique user identifier
  • Account creation and update timestamps

1.2 Application Data

As you use the Service, we store the following data you create:

  • AI Agent configurations — prompts, model parameters, memory settings, tool bindings
  • Conversations — messages exchanged between users and AI agents, including timestamps
  • Memories — facts and context extracted from conversations (text, tags, metadata)
  • Tools — webhook URLs, parameter schemas, and descriptions you register
  • Templates — agent configurations you export or install
  • User profiles — display names and email addresses for users created within your app

1.3 Technical and Security Data

  • API Key — generated at account creation and stored in encrypted form. We store only a preview (last 8 characters) in plaintext for identification purposes.
  • Account tier and credits — your plan level and monthly usage.
  • Error and diagnostic data — stack traces, app identifiers, and email addresses sent to our error tracking service when something goes wrong.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • Process AI agent interactions (conversations, memory retrieval, tool execution).
  • Monitor and fix errors and performance issues.
  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate with you about your account or the Service.

2.1 No Human Access to Your Content

We do not view, read, or manually access your Content. Your conversations, agent configurations, memories, and any other data you create on the Platform are processed exclusively by automated systems to deliver the Service. No AnotherAgent employee or operator will access your Content unless:

  • You explicitly request support that requires us to examine your data.
  • It is strictly necessary to resolve a critical security incident, prevent imminent harm, or comply with a valid legal obligation.

In such exceptional cases, access will be limited to the minimum data necessary and will be conducted by authorized personnel only.

2.2 No Model Training

We do not use your Content to train AI models. Your conversations, agent configurations, and memories are used solely to deliver the Service to you.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party processors to provide the Service:

3.1 Clerk (Authentication)

Clerk handles sign-up, sign-in, and session management. They receive your email, name, and profile image. We also store your encrypted API Key and onboarding state in Clerk's secure metadata storage.

3.2 Sentry (Error Tracking)

Sentry receives error reports that may include your app identifier, email address, and technical stack traces. This data is used solely for diagnosing and resolving issues.

3.3 LLM Providers (AI Inference)

When you interact with AI agents, conversation messages are sent to large language model providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for inference. These providers process your messages to generate responses. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details on how they handle data.

3.4 Cloud Infrastructure

Our backend runs on Google Cloud Platform. Your application data (agents, conversations, memories, tools) is stored on our backend infrastructure hosted in Google Cloud.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses cookies and browser storage for:

  • Authentication session cookies — managed by Clerk to keep you signed in.
  • Local storage — used for UI preferences and client-side state.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and needed to provide the Service.

5.1 Account Deletion ("Delete Account")

You can permanently delete your account at any time via the Settings > Delete Account button. This action is immediate, irreversible, and triggers a full cascade deletion across all systems:

  • Backend data — your app, all AI agents, all conversations and messages, all stored memories and vector embeddings, all registered tools, and all templates are permanently deleted from our database.
  • Authentication record — your Clerk user account, including your email, name, profile image, encrypted API Key, and all session data, is permanently deleted.
  • Active sessions — all sessions are immediately invalidated and you are signed out.

Once deletion is complete, none of your data can be recovered. There is no grace period or undo option.

5.2 Residual Data

After account deletion, some data may persist temporarily in encrypted backups or error tracking logs (e.g., Sentry). These residual records are automatically purged according to the retention policies of each system and cannot be used to restore your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data via your account settings.
  • Deletion — delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page.
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format.
  • Objection — object to certain processing of your data.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of API Keys at rest.
  • HTTPS for all data in transit.
  • Authentication via Clerk with session-based access control.
  • Backend API authentication using per-user API Keys.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in regions outside your country of residence, including the European Union and the United States, where our infrastructure and third-party providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or an in-app notice.
