Privacy Policy

AnotherPlay is a free, ad-supported collection of memory games. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data with transparency and security. AnotherPlay does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, microphone/audio, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive personal information.

1. Information We Collect

AnotherPlay collects a limited set of data, all of which is transmitted securely:

  • Advertising ID — collected by Google AdMob to show ads and measure ad performance.
  • App interactions — anonymous in-app events (for example, a game started or a leaderboard opened) used for analytics, and ad-engagement events used by AdMob.
  • An anonymous account identifier, nickname, and best scores — created automatically to power the optional world-record leaderboard (see Section 5).

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise or approximate location, microphone/audio, contacts, calendar, files, financial, or health information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • App functionality — to provide your anonymous identity and the world-record leaderboard.
  • Analytics — we use Mixpanel to understand how the games are used and to improve them. Only the type of interaction is recorded, never sensitive information.
  • Advertising — to display and measure ads through Google AdMob.
  • Fraud prevention and security — AdMob uses the advertising ID to detect invalid traffic and protect advertisers.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

AnotherPlay shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process your advertising ID and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, and shares this data with Google. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms. You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.

4. Analytics (Mixpanel)

We use Mixpanel to record anonymous app-interaction events so we can see which features are used and improve future versions. These events do not include any sensitive personal information.

5. Anonymous Identity and Cloud Data

AnotherPlay signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication. This creates an app-generated identifier automatically — there is no login, password, or email. If you choose to submit a score to the global leaderboard, your chosen nickname and best score are stored in Firebase Firestore under that anonymous identifier. This data is encrypted in transit. Nicknames submitted to the leaderboard are shown publicly alongside scores.

6. Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. The advertising ID and ad-interaction data are shared with Google for advertising, as described above. Leaderboard data is stored in our own Firebase backend and is not shared with other third parties.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Leaderboard data is retained under your anonymous identifier so world records persist. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see our Data Deletion page, or email support@anotheragent.dev with the subject "AnotherPlay data deletion request". We complete deletion within 30 days. Uninstalling the app stops any further data collection.

8. Children's Privacy

AnotherPlay is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data Security

All data collected by AnotherPlay is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. We apply reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International Users

Where applicable under GDPR and similar laws, the legal bases for processing include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the app, and compliance with legal obligations. Any transfer of data outside your region is performed in compliance with applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of AnotherPlay after changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
